Cheri A. Ong, MD, FACS is a board certified plastic surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery with a practice currently located in Scottsdale AZ. Dr. Ong is a vibrant surgeon with over 10 years of experience in plastic surgery focusing on the breast, aesthetic labial, and vaginal rejuvenation. After receiving an undergraduate degree from Taylor’s College of Melbourne, Australia, Dr. Ong attended medical school at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and subsequently completed a general surgery residency at the University of Arizona and a general surgery internship at the University of Hawaii. To achieve highest standards in feminine rejuvenation, Dr. Ong trained with Dr. Red Alinsod, a world-renowned urogynecologist. His advanced surgical techniques in aesthetic labial procedures, utilizing radiosurgery, have taken more than 25 years to refine. As the Chief Resident during her final year, Dr. Ong completed her training in plastic surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. At Vanderbilt University she had the privilege to train amongst some of the finest plastic surgeons in the country, including Patrick Maxwell, MD; one of the pioneers and inventors in the field of breast surgery and breast implants. Dr. Maxwell was instrumental in the development of breast implants available in the market today.
