I am a Board Certified Dermatologist dedicated to providing the most advanced and effective dermatologic care while delivering the highest level of patient service. I see people of all ages, and provide treatment for conditions of the skin, hair, and nails. I offer both medical and surgical dermatology services to impart and maintain the healthiest skin possible. My approach is based on taking the time to understand each patient’s individual needs in order to develop the most efficacious treatment plan that minimizes discomfort and recovery time, while maximizing long-term benefits. The skin provides clues to a person’s health. In many ways, I see my job as being a detective, for potentially uncovering medical causes for a skin problem. I get a lot of personal satisfaction from managing symptoms associated with skin disorders, and thus helping to improve the quality of life for my patients. I continue to be amazed by the number of people who detect their own skin cancers and come to see me based on their own suspicions that something just doesn’t seem right. Prevention and early detection of skin cancers is often key to providing curative treatments and minimizing complications. It is important for each person to know the warning signs of melanoma and to take the time to examine his or her own skin for signs of skin cancer.
