About Cary Berdy, DDS
Dr. Cary Berdy known as Dr. Cary to his patients was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL where he graduated from The Bolles School. He attended Vanderbilt University and received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Dr. Berdy received his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond. During his four years of dental school, he participated in student leadership, mission trips to southwest Virginia, Guatemala, and Jamaica, and a three-week study abroad exchange program in China at the Qingdao Stomatological Hospital. At graduation, he was honored with the prestigious O.W. Clough award for excellence in general dentistry. He is in his fourth year of professional practice and continues to expand his training through continuing education courses throughout the country. He also gives back to the community by working alongside his father and business partner, Dr. Christian Berdy, to support the local Veterans Administration and by making regular international mission trips to help those who do not have access to dental care. In his free time, Dr. Cary Berdy enjoys golf, Jaguar football, and traveling with his wife Lane.
