About Caroline Berman, DMD

Dr. Berman, the owner of Washington Elite Dentistry, has poured all of her energy and passion into this pursuit. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, which is recognized as one of the top ten universities in the United States. Dr. Berman has been practicing advanced dentistry for almost two decades. A strong believer in continuing education and a consummate student, Dr. Berman continually fortifies and develops her restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry skills by completing extensive continuing education programs each year. She has also completed several post-graduate courses, including a five year Maxillofacial Surgery post-graduate program in Bogotá, Colombia, and is a member of several prestigious dental organizations, such as the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In addition, she has completed the program at Dawson Academy for Functional Occlusion and Smile Design. She has also completed training in occlusion for complex cosmetic cases at the William C. Strupp Postgraduate School of Dentistry. In addition to maintaining licensure to practice dentistry in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida, and the District of Columbia, Dr. Berman has performed dentistry in many countries, from Spain to North, South, and Central America. She has had participated in Operation Smile, a children’s charity for the surgical repair of cleft lip and palate deformities. Dr. Berman has also participated in campaigns for poor elderly patients in developing countries, providing dental implants to help these patients to achieve better nutrition by restoring their ability to chew solid foods. Dr. Berman is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is an Invisalign Premier Provider Certified, and is also active member and certified by ALD (Academy of Laser Dentistry).She is fluent in three languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
