About Carolina Boege, DMD
Carolina Boege, DMD was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil and graduated from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) in 2008. While at USP, Dr. Carolina worked as an assistant in a variety of clinics, including general dentistry, pediatrics, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics and oral and maxillofacial. After graduating, Dr. Carolina decided to come to Chicago to pursue her career as a dentist in the US. While preparing to join the UIC program, she worked at Central DuPage Orthodontics and volunteered at the Chicago Dental Society clinic in Wheaton, IL. In 2014, she joined the Advanced Standing DMD program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and graduated with honors in 2016. Dr. Carolina was a recipient of the Alan C. Peterson scholarship and was nominated and chosen to be part of the OKU Honor Society. Dr. Carolina is a certified provider of Invisalign. On her free time, Dr. Carolina enjoys spending time with her family, CrossFit, fitness, and traveling. Dr. Carolina is very excited to join the In Smyle Dental team and can’t wait to start her new journey providing oral health education and improving the overall health of all her patients. Dr. Carolina speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
