About Carla A. Sanchez-Palacios, MD
Carla Sanchez-Palacios, MD is a board-certified Dermatologist who has been practicing dermatology in the Chicago area since 2003. Dr. Sanchez-Palacios completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University where she graduated with departmental honors in Human Biology. She then attended and graduated from Stanford University Medical School in 1999. She completed one year of Internal Medicine at Stanford University Hospital and then came to Chicago and completed her Dermatology residency at Northwestern University in 2003. At Northwestern she served as Chief Resident. She joined The Skin Care Center in 2003 and has been providing care since then, both in Chicago and Lake Forest. Dr. Sanchez-Palacios is an associate attending physician at Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). Dr. Sanchez-Palacios is fluent in three languages including Spanish and French. Dr. Sanchez-Palacios believes in always doing what is best for the patient. She has an interest in general medical dermatology with strong interests in skin cancer, acne, and surgical dermatology and treats adults and children of all ages.
