About Carl Durand, DMD
Dr. Carl Durand can usually be found smiling and singing around the office. His passion for dentistry motivates him to go beyond caring for his patients' teeth and oral needs. He likes to make sure they have a great overall experience when they come to see him. Dr. Durand attended Montclair State University in New Jersey from where he received his Bachelor Degree in Biology. He then matriculated at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and graduated receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Given his eagerness to provide quality care to his patients, he completed an additional year of training through the Coney Island Hospital General Dentistry Residency Program in New York. After visiting Manchester, Connecticut, Dr. Durand decided to reside here and serve this community. Constantly looking for ways to provide the best quality care to his patients, he takes courses on the latest technologies and advancements in the field of dentistry. Dr. Durand believes every patient is unique and so are their needs. He listens to his patients to understand their concerns and works with them as a team to restore, maintain, and improve their oral health. When not in the office, Dr. Durand spends quality time with his family and friends. He enjoys staying active with activities such as playing basketball and jet skiing. He is frequently invited as a guest lecturer and motivational speaker at various young adults retreats and seminars. If you see him around, do not hesitate to say hi and share a smile!
