About Candace Brown, DDS
Dr. Candace Brown is a native of Dallas, Texas. She attended Lake Highlands High School in Richardson ISD, where she first decided to pursue a career in dentistry. She went on to receive her B.S. degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Baylor University. While at Baylor, Dr. Brown was very active in the community and on campus serving as a member of the Baylor Nutrition Society, a Mission Waco Ministries Mentor, Special Olympics Volunteer, Waco Humane Society Volunteer, and the President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry during which time she served as an active member and President of the Student National Dental Association and was awarded the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award by the American Association of Public Health Dentistry. Dr. Brown is a member of the Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association. She is also a member of the Urban League of Greater Dallas Young Professionals and a Fellowship Christian Academy Mentor where she continues her commitment to community service. She enjoys the unique opportunities dentistry provides to change lives and build lasting relationships. She strives to not only treat her patients to quality care but to educate them on how they can improve their own dental care needs. In 2017, she and her husband started an investment company with hopes of making an impact on Dallas and its thriving economic potential. Their goal is to create capital and allocate resources for businesses to grow, develop, and empower underserved communities. They continue to work diligently to make the necessary strategic alliances that will make this vision a reality. In her spare time, Dr. Brown and her husband are avid lovers of sports and they enjoy traveling with family and friends. They are the proud parents of a spunky doberman pinscher named Murph. He has a very unique personality and enjoys the company of others as much as Dr. Brown. On any given day you can find Dr. Brown reading and soaking up knowledge in abundance. She believes that as long as she is a student of life, her successes and influence are limitless.
