About Bruce A. Smoler, DDS

Dr. Bruce Smoler is a native of the Detroit area. After an accelerated 3 years of college, he attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, IL. This 4 year, year-round program allowed him to advance his skill, knowledge and understanding in dentistry. He was allowed to participate in numerous externship programs treating multidiscipline complex cases. This advanced training gave Dr. Smoler invaluable insight to further propel his professional growth. Graduating with very strong surgical skills allowed Dr. Smoler to expand his surgical knowledge with numerous mini residency programs. Dr. Bruce Smoler completed an intensive 3 year surgical dentistry program for implant dentistry in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This advanced training program allowed Dr. Bruce Smoler to continue his training with the successful completion of his fellowship award in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Skilled in all phases of placing and restoring dental implants, Dr. Smoler’s professional goal is to help patients feel good, look great, and live healthier with implant dentistry. With about 6,000 hours of continuing education, this places Dr. Bruce Smoler in the top 1/2 of 1% of the dentist in America. Such an extensive background in all phases of dentistry is critical in helping patients achieve their desired results with complex full mouth reconstruction involving implants and cosmetics. In office I.V. Sleep Sedation, allows Dr. Smoler’s patients to receive their treatment in complete comfort, ease and relaxation. As a 2nd generation Dentist, Dr. Smoler was taught to be a lifelong learner. Throughout his professional career, Dr. Smoler has far exceeded the mandated state guidelines on C.E. Courses. He also spends time giving back to his profession by lecturing across the country, training and mentoring fellow dentists on Implant Dentistry and practice management procedures. He is very passionate about how Implant Dentistry can change patients’ lives. Helping his patients get a new lease on living life to the fullest with Dental Implants or Teeth In A Day is the true reason he does what he does. Dr. Smoler spends his free time with his wife and two grown children. When able, he is active in Triathalons. He has completed one full Ironman, and many half Ironman . When recouping from the races, he enjoys some quality time on the golf course.
