About Brian M. Peters, DMD
Dentistry is a great profession. I’m continually learning, expanding who I am professionally and personally, and helping people I care about to have healthy, stable, beautiful smiles. I’ve been caring for many of my patients for more than 30 years and value the relationships I've built with them. The people who come for dental care are more than patients: they’re individuals, with unique experiences and interests, and I appreciate how each patient adds something new and exciting to my day. My Bachelor of Science was awarded from Fairleigh Dickinson University and I hold a Master's in Biochemistry from West Virginia University. My Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry was awarded from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now called Rutgers Dental School. Continuing education is part of my commitment to my patients. As a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. I am required to complete 75 hours of post-graduate coursework every three years. I take a range of dental courses, learning about the latest techniques and technology. I believe in carefully evaluating each new option before incorporating them into the practice. After growing up in Linden, NJ, I moved to Marlboro and have resided here for the last 30 years. My wife Denise, a retired University Professor of Biochemistry, and I have two children, Michael and Jeffrey who are practicing attorneys. Michael and his wife Erin, also an attorney, have two children, Jack and Max. I usually spend my free time with our children and grandchildren. I also like golf and fishing, growing Jersey tomatoes, and tinkering around the house.
