About Brian A. Janz, MD

Brian A. Janz MD's mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis. We have created a practice that we believe in and choose for our own family members. Dr. Janz is a proud member of the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics Team. Dr. Janz received his undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Dayton, in Ohio, and his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, School of Medicine, in Toledo. Dr. Janz's residencies included general surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, in Boston, Massachusetts, and plastic, reconstructive and microsurgery at the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery, Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, Texas. Dr. Janz also completed a fellowship concentrating in Medical Informatics at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences & Technology’s Laboratory for Computational Physiology, in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a fellowship at the Curtis National Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore specializing in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. Prior to joining LifeBridge, Dr. Janz worked at the Ohio State Medical Center, Department of Plastic Surgery and was an assistant professor in both the Departments of Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Janz then joined the Advanced Center for Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine (ACOSSM) group where he assumed the responsibility of the upper extremity surgeon for the group. Dr. Janz’s goal is to combine a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of upper extremity and hand issues.
