About Beth A. Buscher, MD
Dr. Beth A. Buscher was born and raised in New York State. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1989. While in college, she was elected to the Phi Sigma Biological Honor Society. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from New York Medical College in 1993, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After completing an internship in internal medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York in 1994, Dr. Buscher did a residency in dermatology at the University of Rochester where she was appointed chief resident. During her dermatology residency, she participated in several clinical dermatology research projects as well as elective conferences involving all dermatologic lasers. Dr. Buscher was board certified by the American Board of Dermatology in 1997. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American College of Phlebectomy. Dr. Buscher’s interests include Botox, treatment of leg veins by laser and sclerotherapy, and laser treatments for skin discolorations, hair removal, skin resurfacing, and tattoo removal.
