About Bessy Despotis, DDS
Dr. Despotis graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. In order to provide the best possible care for her patients, she makes continuing education a top priority by regularly attending dental courses and reading relevant journal articles. Dr. Despotis’ dental philosophy is centered on prevention and patient care. She practices in a thoughtful and caring way in order to diagnose and treat dental and periodontal disease. She works with each patient to determine all of their options so that they may achieve their dental goals. She spends a great deal of time listening to her patient’s concerns and educating them so they are able to make informed decisions regarding their treatment. When Dr. Despotis is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. In her spare time, she likes baking, gardening, and volunteering at her daughters’ school.
