About Behnam Majd, DDS
Dr. Behnam Majd joined District Smiles in June 2020 and has been a valuable addition to our clinical staff. Known for his energetic attitude, he is a compassionate, skilled dentist. The doctor earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. As part of his dental education, he completed several dental externships and an oral surgery clerkship. Dr. Majd also served as president of the Global Dental Brigades, a nonprofit, student-led organization dedicated to implementing sustainable health systems for underserved populations. Devoted to maintaining the highest standard of care, Dr. Majd keeps abreast of the latest dental advancements through continuing education courses in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry and other areas of dentistry. Dr. Majd was honored to be named a Maryland Top Doctor in 2020. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland Dental Association, Howard County Dental Association and the Prince George County Dental Association. The doctor loves spending time with his family and friends as much as possible. He also enjoys travelling and is always up for an adventure. In his free time, you might well find him swimming, hiking or playing soccer or tennis.
