About Barbara V. Galagusz, Aesthetician Specialist
As a Registered Nurse and a licensed Esthetician, I started Skin Trade Spa, a San Diego skin care studio, in 2006. I perform facial treatments and hair removal for both men and women using only the best products as I am an expert certified Dermalogica skin therapist. I began my journey by graduating from Vanier College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. While working as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and deciding not to pursue a undergraduate degree in Nursing, I followed my dream which was to be a small business owner and enrolled at San Francisco State University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and began work at KMPG Peat Marwick. After satisfying the Certified Public Accounting requirements and examination, I went to work for Charles Schwab in Internal Audit. After 7 years at Charles Schwab, I started Small Business Consulting and followed my path to a Controllership. My dream was to own my own business and based on my medical and business experience, 2006 was the right time. A desire to help people look their best led to Esthetician schooling and subsequently Skin Trade Spa. After 10 years operating and servicing my business, my dream is to communicate all that I have learned through freelance, ghost or training avenues. My objective is to utilize my unique skill set: Medical, Business and Lifestyle to write blog posts and articles.
