About Barbara Baum, DDS
Dr. Baum graduated from the University of Witten/Herdecke in 2000, a state of the art Private Dental School in Witten, Germany. Dr. Barbara Baum completed her residency 2000-2003 in an Institute that specializes in Oral surgery and Cosmetic dentistry. She completed her program while being mentored by the best Oral and Cosmetic Surgeons in Europe. In 2004, while moving to the United States, Dr. Baum took the US dental board exams and became a licensed general dentist in California. She has worked in private practice in San Francisco since then. Her fields of expertise include aesthetic veneers and bonding, crowns, safe amalgam removal and Invisalign orthodontics. She loves to provide excellent care for her patients in all fields of dentistry and applies integrative approach to her patients’ care, while working closely with our specialists and team members. Dr. Baum is active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the San Francisco Dental Society. She keeps her profound knowledge constantly growing by participating in hundreds of hours of continuous education in various dental topics and innovations. Personally Dr. Baum is interested in a holistic lifestyle. She likes to spend most of her time outdoors with her husband and 4 kids. She is also an active member of WWF and Amnesty International.
