About Babak Shahrokh, DMD
Dr. Shahrokh enjoys the opportunity to directly impact people’s lives while helping them feel and look better. He believes everyone deserves to experience optimum dental health through comfortable, relaxed, and dignified care, even when anxiety hinders their efforts. Dr. Shahrokh grew up in New Jersey and had an exceptional dentist during those years. His childhood dentist’s professionalism and calm demeanor had a powerful impact on the way he approaches patient care today. Above all, he appreciates the precious relationships that develop with patients over time. Dr. Shahrokh earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine before completing an advanced training residency at the VA Hospital in 2009. He’s a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Diego County Dental Society. He also continues to stay on the leading edge of the profession through a variety of continuing education courses. When he’s not providing care to his patients, Dr. Shahrokh loves spending time outdoors. He enjoys hiking, biking, and quality time at the beach and includes soccer and volleyball in his active lifestyle. He’s also an accomplished Cross-Fit competitor who values the impact of working out regularly. When he has the opportunity, he likes discovering new places, reading a good book, and spending time with his family.
