About Austin P. Daly, MD
Dr. Austin P. Daly was born in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania at Holy Redeemer Hospital and raised in Yardley, Pennsylvania. Dr. Daly attended Holy Ghost Preparatory School and went on to Boston College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2005. After college, Dr. Daly attended The Sidney Kimmel College of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University where he obtained his Medical Doctorate in 2010. After graduating medical school, Dr. Daly completed a General Surgery Internship at Boston Medical Center but decided to make a career change and pursue Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Daly attended The College of Dental Medicine at Columbia University during which time he worked as a Primary Care Physician for Essen Medical Associates in New York City. While in dental school, Dr. Daly was the recipient of many awards, including the Academy of Osseointegration’s Outstanding Student in Implant Dentistry Award. Upon completion of his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2015, Dr. Daly was accepted into one of the top Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Programs in the country at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. During his training, Dr. Daly gained extensive surgical experience in complex dental implant and bone grafting procedures, dentoalveolar surgery and wisdom teeth extractions, facial trauma and reconstruction, benign and malignant pathology of the head and neck, corrective jaw surgery, cleft lip and palate, facial cosmetic surgery, and TMJ disorders. In order to provide the highest level of safety and care to his patients, Dr. Daly was also extensively trained in both office-based anesthesia and general anesthesia. Dr. Daly is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a resident member of the American College of Surgeons. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. While Dr. Daly enjoys all aspects of being an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, he takes a special interest in complex dental implants cases, wisdom teeth, maxillofacial trauma and corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Daly and his wife Elizabeth, a native of Bensalem, are extremely excited and proud to bring their three children (Billy, Claire and Olivia) back home to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Dr. Daly enjoys watching all Philadelphia sports teams, reading and participating in numerous outdoor sports and activities.
