Whether or not we work together, you may find the information this site offers to be of value. My mission is to help you achieve your clear skin goals in any way I can. In the past, I have dealt with acne and I have witnessed loved ones endure acne which often left scars on their skin and their self-esteem. Through my personal experiences, I can relate and I certainly empathize, but that's also why I love what I do. My journey to where I am now, began in 2005 when I attended an Esthetics program in Peoria, Arizona. I became trained in the basics of skin care with an emphasis on Ethnic skin. Over the next couple of years, my resume grew with day spa experience. The more faces I saw, it quickly became apparent to me that acne was plaguing the population and I wanted to help. Soon, I began to study with others whose primary focus is acne. I trained with them, studied acne in depth and decided that treating acne would be my path. In 2009, I attended a Medical Assistant program in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by an externship with a clinic for BHRT (Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy). Next, I went to work for a Dermatology & MOHS practice in Phoenix and during this time, I learned a lot of very valuable information. Somewhere between the endless prescription antibiotics (such as Solodyne, Doxycycline, and Minocycline) not to mention Spironolactone and Accutane, the bigger picture became very clear and my moral compass leads me in a new direction. I knew I could help people who were suffering from acne, without the use of prescription medicine and I set out to do so. In 2011, Clear Skin Acne Therapy was born and began successfully clearing acne with long-term results. My scope of practice includes all types of skin care. Although I specialize in acne treatment, I have the tools and knowledge to effectively manage minor skin abnormalities like skin tags, scarring, hyperpigmentation (discoloration), rosacea, aging skin, melasma and other difficult concerns.
