About Ashley Herold, Aesthetician Specialist
When I was younger I always loved giving my friends and family back massages. My Grandfather told me I had healing hands and should become a Massage Therapist. I took his advice and made a career of it. I love when clients come out of the massage room without the pain and stress they had when they arrived. My history with skincare started when I was a teenager and even into my early adult years I suffered with acne. I know the struggle people face when they look in the mirror and see acne and scarring. I was embarrassed to get my photo taken and was even apprehensive going out in public. I would always put a large amount of foundation on to help cover it up. I started working at Ocean Day Spa in the Fall of 2009 as a Massage Therapist and I quickly fell in love with learning about all the skincare product they carried. I started using these products at home and added monthly micro-dermabrasion and peels to my skincare routine. Within just a few months my skin started healing. I was elated knowing what to use and how to improve my skin and I wanted to do this for others. I received my esthetician License in 2011. I feel a great sense of accomplishment in my work as a massage therapist and esthetician.
