About Arturo R. Garcia, DMD

Arturo R. Garcia DMD, was born in Resistencia, Argentina. His parents moved the family to the United States soon after he was born. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. His mother, Nelida, was a dentist and his father, Jose, was a medical doctor and were a great influence in his life and career. His mother practiced dentistry in Argentina for 15 years and in the United States for 15 years. As such, Dr. Garcia grew up with the idea of pursuing healthcare in order to be able to help others. He was most interested in the practice of dentistry. Dr. Arturo Garcia has over 30 years experience in cosmetic, reconstructive, and implant dentistry. He uses his extensive experience and skill to create healthy, beautiful smiles. He has completed thousands of life-changing smile makeovers that allow his patients to smile, laugh, eat and live life to the fullest. He is a 1984 graduate of Temple University and a 1989 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine . He has also trained extensively at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and The Center for Occlusal Studies He has written and lectured nationally on topics in cosmetic dentistry. He has consulted and lectured for Dental manufacturers like Global Surgical, Leica Microsystems, Bright Smile and others. Dr. Garcia was also a lecturer and instructor at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute and has a passion for learning and helping others learn. Dr. Garcia has extensive experience creating beautiful, healthy smiles using porcelain veneers, no prep veneers, all porcelain bridges all porcelain crowns and dental implants. The amazing dental materials available today along with Dr. Garcia’s extensive training and experience allow him to create smile makeovers and full mouth reconstructions that are healthy, beautiful and durable which in many cases can be completed in as little as 2 visits. Dr. Garcia also has extensive experience delivering all types of cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry using different sedation dentistry techniques including nitrous oxide gas (laughing gas), oral conscious sedation (taking a sedative pill) and general anesthesia (provided by a medical anesthesiologist right in our office). He has successfully used these different sedation techniques for 25+ years to ease patient nervousness and fears about dental treatment and has helped thousands of people regain their smiles, their health, confidence and eliminate their dental fears. Dr. Garcia met many great dentists at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies who share a similar passion for improving dentistry and helping their patients as evidenced by extensive training in advanced dental studies at LVI and other institutions. One of the greatest benefits of such advanced training and studies is meeting other dentists who are likewise committed to constant improvement and are perpetual students like Dr. Garcia. Dr. Garcia is married to Isabella and they have a beautiful teenage daughter Raquel. Dr. Garcia is fluent in Spanish and enjoys meeting people from different cultures. Dr. Garcia and his wife spend much of their time helping Raquel develop her 2nd and 3rd language abilities by helping her with Spanish, Indonesian and soon Mandarin Chinese!
