About Arturo H. Armenta, MD

Dr. Art Armenta is a graduate of Stanford University where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He received his medical doctorate in 1999 from Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center. His training continued at Baylor College of Medicine where he completed his Plastic Surgery residency in 2008 and also completed a Peripheral Nerve and Microsurgery Fellowship. During his years in the Baylor Plastic Surgery Program, Dr. Armenta trained with leading plastic surgeons and developed skills and techniques in all aspects of Cosmetics and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. What distinguishes Dr. Armenta’s extensive preparation, however, is the unique training he received in the highly specialized area of Peripheral Nerve and Brachial Plexus Surgery. He now applies this training as a co-director of the Texas Brachial Plexus Institute and has been invited to speak across the U.S. and Europe on the work he has done in the field of Brachial Plexus Surgery. Dr. Armenta has also published numerous articles on Brachial Plexus Surgery in addition to a variety of other topics in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Armenta is also extremely proud to have been accepted as a Diplomat by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2009. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) adhering to the principles of both of these governing bodies always striving to provide you with the highest level of care. Dr. Armenta is also an active member in the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons (TSPS), the Texas Medical Association (TMA), the Harris County Medical Society (HCMS), and volunteers in teaching plastic surgery residents at The Methodist Hospital. Now, as a private practitioner whose office is located in the heart of The Texas Medical Center, Dr. Armenta offers years of outstanding training, innovative techniques and advanced technology to help you achieve your cosmetic and rejuvenation goals. Dr. Armenta is also fluent in Spanish and proudly cares for international patients from around the world.
