About Anthony M. Spina, MD
Dr. Spina has been in private practice in the Chicago area since 1999. He is a graduate of St. Viator High School, Loyola University, Loyola University School of Dentistry (magna cum laude), and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed both his oral and maxillofacial surgery specialty training as well as two full years of general surgery training at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Spina completed a one-year fellowship specializing in facial cosmetic surgery in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Spina began his career in 1997 as an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He spent two years as an academic oral and maxillofacial surgeon training residents and dental students. He has lectured extensively at both the local and national level and has devoted many hours to research. He is published in numerous journals and current textbooks.
