About Anthony Lux, MD
Dr. Anthony Lux was raised in central Texas, and attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Utah, and returned to Southwestern Medical School for his dermatology residency, and also completed a fellowship in immunohematology. He practiced dermatology in Texas prior to moving to the Tucson area in 2000. Before moving to Arizona, he spent a year working as a general practitioner in Sri Lanka with the Doctors Without Borders organization, and continues to support nonprofit medical organizations. Dr. Lux is passionate about cultivating trusting relationships with his patients and helping them to keep their skin healthy. In addition to his focus on the prevention and identification of skin cancer, he also has a strong interest in immunologic skin disorders. Patients appreciate his pleasant office environment and friendly staff.
