About Anthony Herro, DDS
Dr Herro is a general dentist, and is committed to helping his most vulnerable patients calm their fears. He has focused an area of his practice on patients with special needs his entire career. A graduate of Creighton Dental School, he completed an oral surgery externship in San Francisco and studied IV Sedation at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Patterson, New Jersey. Dr. Herro was a single recipient of the American Dental Society of Anesthesia Horace Wells Senior Student Award for outstanding service in Anesthesia in June 2005. Dr Herro has worked with his father, Dr Ellison Herro, an MD Anesthesiologist, for 15 years providing dental treatment while patients are sedated or under general anesthesia. Dr. Herro is a Founding Member of the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, and one of their respected faculty members in the Special Care Clinic. He is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Special Care Dentistry Association, American Dental Association, and Arizona Dental Association.
