Dr. Anshu Gupta is founder and director of the premier medical practice, Verve Plastic Surgery. Blending art and creativity with intuition and extensive surgical experience has earned Dr. Gupta a highly distinguished reputation amongst his peers and his loyal patients. Dr. Anshu Gupta is steadfast in his personal and professional dedication to providing the best and most compassionate care for his patients. Dr. Anshu Gupta received his training in Plastic Surgery at Indiana University, with additional education and mentoring at the world renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. At these institutions, Dr. Gupta eagerly embraced the opportunity to study under 14 general plastic and facial plastic surgeons, many of them pioneers in their field. Dr. Gupta’s constant personal and professional ambition has allowed him to attain expert proficiency in an expansive variety of procedures, all of which can be tailored to your individual needs, for unsurpassed results. Dr. Gupta specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery in addition to reconstructive surgery for cancer, including microsurgery and advanced breast reconstructions. Dr. Anshu Gupta is currently double board certified in general surgery and plastic surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the San Diego County Medical Society. Dr. Gupta is the leading author of several published research studies in many different fields, which include gene therapy for cancer, general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
