About Anne M. Steward, DMD
Dr. Anne Steward was born in Nairobi, Kenya. She speaks English, German, Swahili, and Kikuyu. Much of her childhood was spent in Kenya, and she is the second oldest of six children. She graduated from Pangani high school in Nairobi,Kenya. For college, she attended the Universitat Darmstadt in Germany and Fayetteville University in North Carolina. From there she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. She then went to the School of Dental Medicine at the Southern Illinois in Alton and graduated in 2002. Currently, Dr. Anne Steward resides in Illinois with her husband and 2 beautiful young daughters. Besides being a mom, she is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, the Missouri Dental Society and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, American Orthodontic society. She also completed the E2 program on building the ideal practice which is in Scottsdale Arizona at the Scottsdale School of Dentistry, where Gordon Christensen is the Dean. She also serves as a part time clinical faculty at Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Steward bought the practice in 2007 and is very excited to lead our team, continue to serve you with quality dentistry, and keep our office on the cutting edge of dental technology.
