About Annabelle Gonzales, Aesthetician Specialist
Struggling her whole teenage years with acne and unattractive skin, Annabelle became very good at "covering" her blemishes with makeup and experimenting with topical creams and home remedies. With what she thought was "necessary" to get through a day in a teenage world, was merely a skill she later called as a career. Annabelle finds herself to be very artistic and bold. Loving to "color" as a child only made her perfect the "blending" technique used in makeup application. Always getting caught playing with her Mom's eyeshadows as a child filtered her curiosity for glamour. Annabelle graduated from Sweetwater High school in National City in 2000. Upon graduating like every excited Senior, had no clue of what life would be outside of "highschool". Continuing her education at Southwestern Community College in Chula Vista with Business Management Courses Annabelle knew she wanted to venture in the Business Management Field, but didn't know exactly what. Going with the flow, she spent One and a half years not realizing she would make a detour in her career path. With her lifestyle of facials, waxing and shopping for makeup, she one day finally realized that she can make this a career. Interested in makeup posters, magazines and books, Annabelle always thought, "I CAN'T DO THAT. IT'LL LOOK FUNNY ON ME". With confidence, practice and the use of "study time", Annabelle sat in front of the mirror studying her face and eyes. Applied creams, makeup, lotions and gels figuring out what worked and what didn't. Why her skin broke out, what can she do to "up-play" her small eyes, and what cream can "brighten her dull skin". Practicing on her friends and family she was eager to find a school she wanted to attend. Annabelle enrolled at California Hair Design Academy graduating in Esthetics in March 2006 and obtained her State Board License of Esthetics in April 2006. Immediately working as a Licensed Esthetician at a spa in November 2006, providing "makeup tips" and always being complimented on her "flawless" makeup and eye shadow application, Annabelle began applying makeup for Brides, Bridal Parties, Prom & Homecoming Queens. Then it grew into a variety of occasions. Experienced in waxing, Annabelle is highly known as the Brazilian waxer and a "speed waxer" not missing any spots. With Annabelle's warm, hospitable and personable personality, She was asked by many of her clients to offer massage therapy to them. Annabelle thought what a great opportunity and then decided to enroll at United Education Institute in March 2007. She graduated with 720 hours of Massage Therapy in December 2007 while working at the Spa. Continuing to gain her experience in the spa industry and Chiropractic Offices, Annabelle worked at various spas & chiropractic offices and worked on countless Clients. Gaining experience in the "spa industry" and the MANY services she offers made Annabelle realize she wanted to be an owner of a business. Her BUSINESS. With dedication, sacrifices and countless hours of studying, Annabelle has obtained her Bachelor's in Business Management with an emphasis in Public Administration from University of Phoenix in 2011. But it didn't stop there, Annabelle attended graduate school at University of Phoenix for her Master's Degree in Accountancy, and graduated in March 2015. In 2017, Annabelle decided after numerous inquiries to offer brow tattoo to her clients, she now holds a certificate in Microblading.
