About Ankur P. Jhaveri, DMD
Dr. Ankur Jhaveri is the newest member of the team at Family Dental Practice of Bloomfield. Dr. Jhaveri earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Richmond. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine at The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and completed a yearlong general dentistry residency with Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Jhaveri joined the practice directly following the completion of his residency in 2012 and is already proving himself to be a valuable member of the team. In just under three years, Dr. Jhaveri has participated in continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, digital radiography, oral surgery and more. He is dedicated to treating patients respectfully, and listening to their oral health goals. As he gains experience in general dentistry, he shows a unique aptitude for patient care, and will help you meet any smile goal. In his spare time, Dr. Jhaveri enjoys giving back to his community. He helps adults preparing to take high school equivalency, provides dental care for underserved populations, and volunteers with numerous community organizations. Dr. Jhaveri loves watching CONN Basketball and playing tennis with friends and family. He also has a hidden talent. Dr. Jhaveri is a trumpeter and enjoys playing both jazz and traditional orchestral styles of music.
