About Angelea Iafornaro, Aesthetician Specialist
Suga Skincare was officially founded in 2019 by Angelea Iafornaro (aka Lea Fornaro). After about a year and a half of experimenting with formulas and natural skincare products, while selling at local farmers' markets, Angelea realized that [natural] skincare was her true passion. She wanted to create a brand where women felt confident in the products they were using, knowing the ingredients are both safe and effective, and would not require them to sacrifice their health for beauty. With all of nature's remarkable solutions to our skin concerns, there was a whole world to explore. With her business degree, she officially decided to take a leap into the realm of skincare and pursue her ideas of making women feel beautiful, naturally. Leaving her 9-5 job, she went back to school to become a licensed esthetician and created her own business. Shortly after, she began working as an esthetician in conjunction with developing the Suga Skincare product line. As of 2020, she is in the process of partnering with a manufacturer to complete her first product line and has already begun retailing in local spas throughout San Diego.
