About Andrew Ross, MD
Dr. Ross completed his dermatology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, one of the leading dermatology training programs in the nation. He served as chief resident during his final year of training. While there, Dr. Ross was involved with studying melanoma biology and published extensively on the subject. He has a special interest in skin cancer surveillance and treatment. Dr. Ross has expertise in all areas of the field including general dermatology, complex medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Ross was elected to the AOA medical honor society as a junior in medical school. He has received multiple awards including the Hardest Working Intern award at UCSD and the Jaime Battan Compassionate Patient Care Award.
