About Andres Bonelli, MD

Dr. Bonelli, a board certified physician specializing in cosmetic medicine and surgery, began his education at Harvard University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and received a bachelor's degree in Biochemical Sciences. While an undergraduate, Dr. Bonelli participated in medical research at Harvard Medical School, and was published for the research he performed at the Massachusetts General Hospital Experimental Hematology Laboratory. Dr. Bonelli attended medical school at the prestigious Southwestern Medical School, which boasts the most Nobel Laureates of any medical school, and continued his postgraduate education at the University of South Florida. During residency, Dr. Bonelli studied with experts in the fields of cosmetic medicine and surgery, completing an Area of Concentration in Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Bonelli served as the assistant medical director of A Permanent Solution, which specializes in laser procedures, including laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, and laser skin resurfacing, from 2006-2008. He has performed countless laser procedures and has recently introduced True Tumescent Liposuction to the Tampa Bay Area. Dr. Bonelli has dedicated himself to minimally invasive procedures that enhance beauty and defy the aging process. In addition to liposuction for local fat reduction, Dr. Bonelli also performs Lipo-Dissolve Mesotherapy, which dissolves fat with a soy-derived medication that is FDA approved. Other forms of mesotherapy offered by Dr. Bonelli are used to treat cellulite and to regrow hair. For unsightly spider veins and varicose veins, Dr. Bonelli offers sclerotherapy and endovenous laser therapy (EVLT). Facial rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction are also available, using a special combination of Restylane®, Botox™, and laser skin resurfacing.
