About Andre Y. Levesque, MD
Dr. Andre Yuan Levesque is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in procedures for the face, body, and breasts. Treating patients all across the greater Austin, TX area, he welcomes men and women of any age to his self-founded practice, Levesque Plastic Surgery. Dr. Levesque feels great pleasure when he is able to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals, whether their desire is to beautifully enhance their silhouette, naturally restore their features, or rejuvenate their overall appearance. Dr. Levesque's dedication to refining his craft is driven by his mission to employ only the safest and most effective surgical and nonsurgical techniques. By doing this, he is able to consistently deliver results that are stunning, natural, and suit every patient's unique frame. Specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive treatments for the breast, body, and face, Dr. Levesque is able to address a wide range of concerns at his plastic surgery practice. His most sought-out procedures include breast augmentation, tummy tuck, facelift, eyelid lift (blepharoplasty), skin cancer reconstruction, and various treatments for hand rejuvenation (such as fat grafting and fillers to add volume). Having undergone extensive training under the watchful eye of several pioneers in the modern cosmetic field, Dr. Levesque employs his high level of technical skill and artistic eye to treat and correct even the most complex aesthetic concerns. Dr. Levesque realizes the vitality of continuing education in a constantly evolving profession. Because of this, he has attended numerous post-doctoral courses and conferences, allowing him to further hone his skill set and learn new techniques. He currently holds a board certification in plastic surgery and has Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications with the American Heart Association. Dr. Levesque had the pleasure of attending the University of Texas in Austin, where he studied mechanical engineering. After receiving his bachelor's degree, he went on to study medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch. It was in medical school that he discovered his calling for plastic surgery and pursued the field with diligence. Dr. Levesque fulfilled his plastic surgery residency at the prestigious Albany Medical Center, where he received the highest level of training for six years. He would then go on to further refine his skills under the fellowship of industry giant Dr. James Grotting in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Levesque has held covetous faculty positions at both Albany Medical College and the University of Alabama in Birmingham. His love for the city of Austin would eventually lead him to return to Texas to begin his professional career. Dr. Levesque has been in practice now for the last few years, and he looks forward to further cementing himself as a household name among the community. Throughout his flourishing career, Dr. Levesque has remained active in every facet of his profession. This includes participating in over twenty continuing education courses, publishing his writing and independent studies in numerous peer-edited academic journals and textbooks (such as Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and The Art of Body Contouring: A Comprehensive Approach), and delivering presentations all across the country from San Diego, CA to Albany, NY. Dr. Levesque met his wife, Jessica, during his tenure at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, where he earned his medical degree. When he is not in the office tending to patients, he's busy cheering on the Texas Longhorns in various sporting events. Dr. Levesque also enjoys playing lacrosse, fishing, gardening, surfing, and traveling during his off time.
