About Amy Liu, DDS
Dr. Amy Liu was born and raised in Taiwan. She graduated from dental school at Taipei Medical College in 1983. To further her education, she came to the US. She completed a postdoctoral program in Oral Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco in 1986. One year later she obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. After graduating, Dr. Amy Liu moved to Phoenix in 1988 to practice general dentistry. She has been the owner of Modern Dental Care since 1990. Dentistry is Dr. Amy Liu’s calling. She attends many continuing education courses and loves to learn about technological advancements in the field of dentistry. She is skilled in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, implant dentistry, and oral surgery. She is also licensed to perform IV sedation. She is a Preferred Provider for Invisalign. In her free time Dr. Amy Liu enjoys traveling, photography, reading, and meeting new people. In addition to English, Dr. Amy Liu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She is married to an optometrist and has two adult daughters. Their family also includes a Chesapeake Bay retriever, a cat, a goldfish, a desert tortoise, and many chickens.
