About Alyssa P. Illig, DMD
Dr. Illig was born and raised in Connecticut and comes from a dental family. Both her father and grandfather are oral surgeons and her younger brother is currently enrolled in dental school. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and then attended Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Illig is a member of the CT State Dental Society and the American Dental Association and also volunteers at the Mission of Mercy free dental clinic and travelled to Guatemala with Dentistry for All, a non-profit dental organization. Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Illig loves to cook, and spend time in her garden. She swears by her daily yoga practice to stay calm and focused. She also stays active running and hiking with her husband.
