About Alyson Nguyen, DDS

Dr. Alyson Nguyen has been practicing dentistry for the past 18 years and she currently lives in the Clear Lake area. Prior to living in Clear Lake, Dr. Nguyen was a long time resident of the Southbelt area. She moved to the area in 1984 and went to school at Beverly Hills Intermediate and graduated from J. Frank Dobie High School in 1991. She then went on to attend the University of Houston, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1995. After college, she continued her education at the University of Texas Dental Branch, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999. Not only did she receive her DDS degree in 1999, Dr. Nguyen also married her husband, Nhan, a social worker, that year. They have three children, Benjamin, 15 years old, Noah, 9 years old, and Bethany, 7 years old. Dr. Nguyen is an active member at her church, St. Bernadette Catholic Church, where she has volunteered in the nursery, taught Faith Formation, and helped with the food pantry and various scholarship fundraising events. Dr. Nguyen enjoys doing various hobbies, including reading, running and traveling. She has traveled the country to run half marathons, combining her passion for running and traveling. She is hoping to make many more memories with her family through their travels. One of Dr. Nguyen’s favorite aspects of being a dentist is establishing a relationship with her patients. She knows that people are not too fond of going to the dentist, for fear of pain and discomfort. Her goal is to make the patient’s experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible so that he/she looks forward to coming back. She has great communication skills, and has a gentle touch with her patients, from youngest to oldest. She is looking forward to making you smile with confidence and happiness.
