About Allen L. Oshana, DMD
Dr. Allen L. Oshana is a Farmington native and has practiced general dentistry in Guilford for over 30 years. As a resident of Guilford, he has enjoyed meeting and helping patients with their dental needs. Dr. Oshana was the first Farmington resident to graduate from the Health Center. After graduating from dental school, he then completed a general practice residency in the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force base in Ohio. Following residency, Dr. Oshana served at Randolph Air Force Base as the base oral surgeon and also provided prosthodontic care for two years. Following active duty he served as a dental officer at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee MA for seventeen years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2003. Dr. Oshana later returned to the School of Dental Medicine to serve as an associate clinical professor in fixed prosthodontics from 1982-1984.
