About Alicia C. Abella-Torrente, DDS
Dr. Alicia C. Abella-Torrente received her doctorate of dental surgery from Marquette University in 1993. The following year she completed an elective post-graduate General Practice Residency at the Dade County Dental Research Clinic. During this time the East Coast District Dental Society awarded her first place for a table clinic on all ceramic dental veneers and crowns. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International University. Dr. Abella has been involved in several professional organizations and has held elected positions at the local level. Most importantly, while in private practice Dr. Abella continues to pursue advanced continuing education primarily in the areas of General, Cosmetic and Implant dentistry to provide her patients with the highest level of care.
