About Akiva Berger, DDS
Excited to join our team at Dental Health 360, Dr. Berger is as passionate about dentistry as he is caring about his patients. Having grown up watching his late grandfather treat patients of all ages for over 50 years in Brooklyn, Dr. Berger was motivated to follow in his path and become a general dental practitioner. Dr. Berger graduated Yeshiva University summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, after which he attended Columbia College of Dental Medicine in New York, NY. Upon matriculation, Dr. Berger completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore-LIJ, during which he developed a specific interest in dentoalveolar and periodontal surgery. In that vein, he is enrolled in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxicourse in Dental Implantology, gleaning the most advanced and cutting-edge techniques in the innovative world of implant surgery and prosthetics. Dr. Berger is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is BLS and CPR certified, and holds Invisalign certification as well. Dr. Berger, while not chairside seeing patients, enjoys spending time with his wife Gabrielle and raising his two daughters. In addition, he has particular fondness for playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, and reading non-fiction.
